I like going out. That's no secret. Because I recently started asking myself why I go out every week, I was determined to find out. Here are nine points speaking for going out every week to make myself feel better.

1. The social aspect

For centuries the bar has been THE place to make friends. The vikings were constantly drinking with their fellow warriors. Of course they also raped and plundered, but lets try not to think about that for a minute. Today it's the exact same thing. You go to a bar, talk to awesome people, expand your network and stare at your next rape victim. Just kidding. Kind of.

2. Job opportunities

Lets assume that you don't get totally hammered when you go out (I know it's hard but stay with me) then you will start meeting people that know other people. Talk about your general interests and subtly make the point that you are actually looking for a job. You will most likely find job openings such as gigolo, hooker, stripper or personal slave, but hey, we all have to start somewhere.

I have one rule and one rule only; Never say no. Simple as that! Don't be the person that nobody likes because "you don't do shots because you'll get a hangover". Get over it.
